Due to the recent economic downturn faced by the United States and around the world, the percentage of unemployment was higher. According to very recent surveys, present unemployment percentage have gone down to 9.70% from 11.80%, which means more chances to graduates who have been looking for jobs. Fresh candidates with degrees and practical experience in their fields can easily catch hold for many high paying jobs in the medical field in the U.S market today.

Some other opportunities for fresh candidates have popped up these days, which have really proved to be of huge help and have been seen to pay well to the graduates. When we talk about the sector with the best pay, health care is an arena, which has become quite popular in recent times with fresh graduates. According to the US Government, the Health Care and Medicine Sector in recent times and has proven to be the good paid sectors which offer high bonuses and good salaries

Nursing is also being considered by many prospective students applying to Medical Schools, as a field of study and subsequent specialization. This would probably be because nurses have always been seen as the most required workers in the medical field of U.S today, consisting of about 13% of the 15,000 workers in the social and health care assistance category as surveyed by the U.S. Department of Labor.

Some of the most lucrative or well paying options observed in recent times have been mentioned as follows. Thoracic Surgeons have been observed to be easily paid amounts to the tune of $210,000. However, though payment is seen as a major deciding factor in the kind of career most fresh graduates choose, it should not be obviously, the only one. It will be difficult to continue working in the Medical field for students if they lack genuine interest in their chosen field of study. However, this not only pertains to the Medical careers, but is a general observation, pertaining to most.

It is a pre-requisite to have adequate experience and knowledge about the field applied to. The experience of the candidate in the field being applied to is an obvious added advantage. This is understandable as a necessity in any practical field; not just necessarily limited to the Medical Field. Knowledge or diversity in more than one field is an added advantage for higher prospects and larger payment packages. For eligible candidates fresh out of Medical School or those planning to work within the U.S. Medical Market, jobs in the medical field are worth giving a thought.
